Interstitial: Our Hearts Intertwined has a foundational mechanic in the Link System.

You can track Links on anything. In a notepad, on a spreadsheet, on a shared piece of scratch paper. Anything works. This is one way you can mark down the people you’ve met over time, so you can see a visual representation of everyone that has left an impression on your character.

The largest circle in the center of the coloured circle is your character. Place a drawing or image of them there, either made by yourself or ripped off google images. Then, put your party members or closest NPCs in the circle with you. This is your close circle. These are the people that mean the most to you.

After that, mark down the relationships you have with them using the Link images. That way you can quickly see at a glance what relationships you have with each character. If you have a locked link, put the small lock next to the symbol. If it’s a Bonded Link, put the B symbol next to it.

There is no need to mark down the relationships others have with you, they’ll have their own sheet to keep track.
